Sorry for the fuzzy pic, its a small tag. Here’s what it says:
“100% Lead free Non-PVC liner
Libre de plomo recubrimiento sin PVC”
I ripped this tag off of a lunch box that was on the shelf at our local grocery store. I must be a complete idiot, because I was unaware that lunch boxes were lined in lead, except for these special few. Is this to insure that Superman can’t find out the contents of your lunch? So that it can survive a nuclear blast and be eaten by a survivor? What exactly is the logic that the Chinese factories feel lead is the best material to use on pretty much anything children have contact with? From Cub Scout badges to rattles to lunch pails and Dora the Explorer…where does it ever end?
