Dick Cheney “So?”

Published March 24, 2008 by missharleyquinn

I had the strangest thought today…isn’t the United States a democracy?  Aren’t our leaders supposed to represent ‘We the people’?  Accordingly, this is a definition from Farlex online dictionary, on what is the definition of the President of the United States… “the chief public representative of a country who may also be the head of government”.  I’m guessing Dick Cheney’s job should be similar, sort of like the runner up in the Miss America Pagent…if George can’t fulfill his duties, yadda, yadda…

  • He is there simply to keep the finacial interests for himself and his pals like the Bushes flowing and growing why do you think Bush chose him, what corporation is one of the biggest rip-offs of our tax dollars, Haliburton in which Cheny and the Bushes hold interests in moreover Cheny used to be their top ceo, if he did what the people wanted they would all lose money, we could not have that could we.

Here! Here ! David. Couldn’t have said it better myself. Thanks for visiting. 🙂

  • Jesus Christ…you mean the man is ALIVE? His Vice-Presidency has been like a living game of “Where’s Waldo”.

    “So?”

On that statement alone, he should be impeached.

LOL (sorry, girlfriend….this man fries my eggs.) 😉

I recall a SNL skit where he was resurrected throughout the day for various reasons, but otherwise sat at his desk and was a corpse until needed…always makes me giggle.

  • We haven’t been a democray for almost 7 years. We have come very close to a dictatorship. If we were a democracy both of those criminals would have been impeached at the very least.

I completely agree with you. I just finished reading Carl Bernstein’s book about Hillary Clinton and if this administration was held accountable for a quarter of what the Clintons were…they would have been in prison in 2003! Thanks for stopping by. 🙂

  • Oh boy here I go.
No, the United States of America is not a Democracy. It is in fact a Representative Republic. The Founding Fathers dreaded the idea of a Democracy which they considered Mob-Rule. A representative structure quells anarchy. I’M NOT TAKING SIDES JUST ANSWERING YOUR QUESTION. I have sworn not to be political this go-around.

Making promises you don’t intend to keep? *l*
