Ever so slowly I’ve been making my way through Martha Stewart’s Cookie Cook Book. The thumb print cookies are very good and very easy, but (huge but here) when she writes to store these cookies using an airtight container, she means it. We’re talking seal these cookies like an Egyptian tomb, curse included. I foolishly thought covering them with plastic wrap and then tin foil would be fine…yeah, its fine if you like eating sweet rocks. So, sadly as much as we enjoyed them the night the cookies were baked, we ended up just licking the chocolate out of the thumb indentations the next day.
