I am not separate from those that sift and dredge through fallen debris; searching for those that still cling to this realm.
I am not separate from those buried and alone; clinging from breath to ragged breath.
I am not separate from those that unearth miracles.
And regrettably, I am not separate from those that send poison from their tongues screeching “Karma” and “Debt Paid in Full” and “God never forgot Pearl Harbor” and “Pay Back is a Bitch”.
We are entangled, you and I. And every living creature upon this planet we call home. We may never know one another by face, but the strands that link go soul deep and our hearts recognize the enormity…the vibrations…the core depth of our connections. Nothing and no one truly stands alone
I am in awe of the strength, hope, and sheer will to survive that this tragedy has inspired.
