Dreams of the Mom Variety

Published July 27, 2011 by missharleyquinn

Grown don’t mean nothing to a mother.  A child is a child.  They get bigger, older, but grown?  What’s that suppose to mean?  In my heart it don’t mean a thing.  ~Toni Morrison, Beloved, 1987

  • LOL That’s so true. I’m now almost a senior citizen myself, and my Mom still asks me to ‘check in’ when I’m on a road trip or whatever. And I’m happy to do it, because even though my kids are well into their 20s, I do the same thing.

A mom is a mom is a child is a mom.

(GREAT photo, btw…just goes to show how far we’ve fallen…)
